Thus Soared I Elation Great All That Passed Ere Long Forgotten Heavens On High Soon Growing Nigh Their Glory Filling One's Eye Too Long Unknown Souls Dearth Sated Wonders Upon Wondrous Wonders So Long Forgotten Mine To Behold Anew Til To My Dismay Too Late Realized This Wondrous Being Soaring Higher Faster Than I Time Having Worn Me Thin Unable To Keep Pace Soon Lost To View Alone Was I Bereft Of That Which Had Given Elation Alone Again Dark Foreboding Coldness Once Again Mine Spirit Waning Will Lost So I Plummeted Crashing Down Amongst The Dust and Ruin Of My Tower Thus I Lay Gazing Towards The NowFaint Heavens Above With A Sigh Slowly I Crawled Toward The Remnants Of My Tower Now A Disarray Of Stones Dusting One Off I Place It Ever So Carefully Back In Its Place And So I Perform This Task Over Again And Again Till Ever Again The Dark Solace That Is This Tower Mine Alone Again |
